Russell Bedford Ibero-America Conference 2025: La Paz, Mexico
April 2025
The Russell Bedford International Ibero-America Conference 2025 was held at the Hotel Índigo La Paz Puerta Cortés in La Paz, Mexico. It brought together members from across the region for another fantastic opportunity to build connections, exchange knowledge and plan for the future.
In the lead-up to the event, Stephen Hamlet, CEO of Russell Bedford International, and Kathryn Davis, Associate Director of Network Engagement, visited the Russell Bedford Guadalajara office. Their visit provided a valuable opportunity to learn more about the firm’s operations, discuss growth plans, and meet with their outstanding team.
The conference officially opened with a warm welcome at the El Puerto Beach Club, where delegates enjoyed a stunning sunset before heading to the Barco restaurant for dinner on the terrace. The evening provided the perfect setting for networking, while enjoying the fabulous views of the Puerta Cortés Marina.
The main agenda began with introductions and updates from our host firm, Russell Bedford La Paz - Los Cabos, followed by key insights from the board, strategic discussions on regional growth, marketing and publications, and an in-depth analysis of LATAM market trends.
The conference continued with a series of expert-led sessions covering essential topics such as cybersecurity, exponential innovation, business development, talent management, marketing, and sustainability. Contributions from regional committees offered further insights, highlighting emerging trends and opportunities across Latin America.
To mark the close of the conference, delegates gathered for a final evening celebration in the central courtyard of the Quemadero Restaurant, located in the heart of the Malecón area of La Paz.
This brought the event to a memorable end, leaving attendees inspired and energised for the future.
Following the conference, the central team continued their regional tour with a visit to the Russell Bedford Monterrey office. It was a great opportunity to exchange updates from across the global network, as well as discuss the local economic outlook, and to also enjoy some of the regional cuisine.
The final stop was a visit to Russell Bedford Mexico City S.C. This visit highlighted the firm’s impressive growth - from a single-partner practice in 1993 to its thriving operation today. Team members also shared their experiences of and contributions to the firm’s evolution over the years.
“This year’s Ibero-America Conference was another fantastic success. Our Latin American firms continue to thrive, demonstrating strong growth and providing outstanding support to clients across the region. This opportunity to reconnect and collaborate on long-term strategies only strengthens their path to even greater success.” Stephen Hamlet, CEO Russell Bedford International.
